Welcome, Mr. Poling!
Mr. Jack Poling is a recent graduate of Alma College, where he acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree, as Magna Cum Laude majoring in Mathematics, Secondary Education, and Physics. He has passed both Math & Physics MTTC tests to receive a Michigan Teaching Certificate.
Mr. Poling wants to find a teaching position in the area, teach for a long time, and hopefully, be a basketball coach. He described a desire to become very involved in our community and positively impact our students' lives, both inside and outside of school.
Mr. Poling is excited to continue his passion for Math here at BHS/MS as our new BHS/MS Math Academic Coach.

Bond Updates
Over Christmas break BCS has had several projects that were completed. Exterior signage has been installed on the buildings and directional signs have been installed at main entrances. We've also had ADA interior signage completed to allow for a more uniform look throughout both buildings. Thank you E & S Graphics for your work on these projects.
We have had some additional casework installed in MS/HS classrooms. This casework provides our teachers with additional storage in each classroom.
Some HS electrical work was completed over break. The locker rooms have had lighting installed and the HS stage lights have also been installed and are in the process of being programmed.
The MS Gym is almost completed. It is scheduled to be able to be in use by mid January. We look forward to being able to use this space again for MS athletics, daily PE classes, practices, and youth sports. This process has been difficult to navigate, but we now have a space we can be proud of.

The 7th grade basketball team had a great season! They learned a lot about each other as players, they learned new skills, and worked hard as a team. These girls ended their season with a 8-3 record. These 7th grade girls have a bright future ahead of them and we cannot wait to see them in action next Fall.
