Huntley Happenings ~ October 24th

Hello Huntley families,

The first quarter of the school year has swiftly come to a close. To acknowledge our students' dedication and hard work, we hosted a celebratory reward party today. Students enjoyed rotating through art activities, a dance party, and extended recess time. Please note that your child may be unusually tired this evening due to the day's festivities. Thank you to our parent volunteers who came in to help!

While conferences have concluded, we encourage parents who were unable to meet with their child's teacher to please reach out via email to schedule a convenient time to connect. Thank you to all families who generously donated to provide meals for our staff during the conference evenings. Your contributions were greatly appreciated

Next week is Halloween. As a reminder, students ARE NOT allowed to wear costumes to school. Instead, we have a few spirit days planned:

Monday- Comfy Cozy Day

Tuesday- Hat Day

Wednesday- Red Day

Thursday: Orange/Black Day

Friday- Blue/Gold or Huntley Spirit Day

As a final reminder, there is no school tomorrow (Friday). Staff will be professional development trainings for the day.

November 11th- Veteran's Day Breakfast (7:45) and Assembly (9:00). (Spirit Day: Red, White, and Blue)

November 12th- Mrs. Koffi's class to Log School House

November 12th- PTO Meeting 6:00 in LMC

November 13th- Ms. Zold and Mrs. Mullen's classes to Log School House

November 14th- Mrs. Scherer's class to Log School House

November 21st- 4th and 5th grade concert- 5:30 in multipurpose room

November 25th- Comfy Cozy Dress Up Day

November 26th- Fall Colors Day and Appleton Christmas Parade at 7:00

November 27th-November 29th- No School

We are looking for parents and community members to help staff our lunchroom! If you know anyone who is interested in working at Huntley during the lunch hours (11:00-12:45), please encourage them to fill out the application below and turn into the Huntley School office.
