A Note From Principal Marwah
Happy New Year, LaGuardia Family!
As we step into 2025, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you for a joyful and successful year ahead. January will be a short but action-packed month with so much to look forward to, including tonight’s Gospel Concert, next week’s Musicales, and later this month, the Semi-Annual Music Concert, Winter Dance Showcase, New Music Ensemble Showcase, and the Winter Band Concert.
As we approach the end of the semester, let’s all stay focused on finishing strong. I encourage every student to touch base with your teachers to ensure your schoolwork is complete and to explore opportunities to earn your best possible grades. We are also reviewing in-school and after-school tutoring programs to provide even more support for student success.
Thank you all for being a part of our vibrant and inspiring school community. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, creativity, and excellence!
Warm regards,
Deepak Marwah
Principal

Girls Basketball defeated Stuyvesant High School 48-32. Captain Skyler dominated with 20 points, and freshman point guard Josephine with her crazy ‘swishes’. Great job by Liliana on the defense. Come support the girls.
