8th Grade End-of-Year Fun & Upcoming Celebrations!

We had an amazing time celebrating our 8th graders this past week! Over 150 students joined us at Langer’s for a day full of fun and connection, and more than 90 students danced the night away at our 8th Grade Dance. It was a joy to see so many smiles, laughter, and great memories being made.

We’re not done celebrating yet! Please make note of the important events coming up:

🧼 Locker Clean Out – Tuesday, June 10
Students will clean out their lockers during the school day in preparation for the end of the year.

🎓 Mandatory Promotion Rehearsal – Tuesday, June 10 at 12:30 PM
All students participating in the promotion ceremony must attend school all day and be present for rehearsal.

🎉 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony – Tuesday, June 10 at 6:00 PM
Students must arrive at 5:30 PM.
Join us as we celebrate the achievements and growth of our 8th grade students! Families and friends are warmly welcome.

Field Day Fun for All Grades – Wednesday, June 11 (All Day)

To wrap up the school year on a high note, we are hosting Field Day for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders! Students will enjoy a full day of outdoor games and team activities, including:

🏖️ Sun Beach Obstacle Course
⚔️ Warriors Battle
🏇 Fun Derby Race
🎯 And many more exciting activities!

An opt-out form will be sent home on Monday for families who prefer their student not participate.

To ensure a safe and positive experience, all participating students must meet behavior and attendance expectations.

Please note: All activities are supervised and safety measures are in place. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Valor Middle School and the district are not liable for minor injuries that may occur during recreational activities.
