Mrs. Lake's Weekly Update
January 5, 2025
Dear All Saints Families,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each of our families. While there is always something exciting about the start of a new year, 2025 has the honor of being a Jubilee Year. In the Catholic Church, Jubilee Years are special years designated by the Pope (typically occurring every 25 years) where the faithful are encouraged to undertake pilgrimages, seek forgiveness for their sins, and renew their spiritual lives. For Jubilee 2025, Pope Francis is encouraging people to be Pilgrims of Hope and marked the beginning of this special year by opening the "Holy Door" at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
