RULH Elementary Honors Veterans with Donation to Wounded Warrior Project!
On Friday, November 8th, students in grades K-6 participated in a "Walk for Warriors" to support the Wounded Warrior Project. The elementary specials teachers (Mrs. Mary Sonner, Mrs. Jessica Kahrs, Mrs. Aimee Carpenter, Mr. Gabe Scott, Mrs. Joanne May and Ms. Molly Ross) organized this event for students and staff!
Students walked during their specials class time to show support for this cause that assists military veterans. Several students brought in pictures and items in honor of a veteran.
Students also turned in donations that will be sent to the "Wounded Warrior Project". Thank you to all who supported our project, including our generous online donors.
Collectively, RULH Elementary School raised $961 for the "Wounded Warrior Project"! Way to go specials teachers and RULH Elementary students!

Fourth Graders Dig Into Fascinating Fossils!
Students in Mrs. Adams 4th grade science class are digging deep into the fascinating world of fossils! They are learning all about how fossils form and what they can tell us about life long ago. This week, students had the chance to examine real fossils from the Ordovician period, taking a glimpse into a time when Ohio was covered by a shallow sea teeming with ancient marine life. It's been exciting to see their curiosity sparked by these remnants of Ohio's prehistoric past!"
RULH Jr./Sr. High School Students Enjoy "Fun Friday"!
It was "Fun Friday" on Friday, November 8th at RULH Jr./Sr. High! The students who were celebrated were those who met the PBIS awards criteria set by students and staff for the month of October.
