EES Family Survey- Your Input is Needed!
- A clear and shared focus
- High standards and expectations for all students
- Effective school leadership
- Strong communication and opportunities to work together
- What we teach, how we teach, and how learning is aligned with state standards
- Frequent monitoring of learning and teaching
- Focused professional development
- Supportive learning environment
- High levels of family and community involvement
In addition, the survey asks about two other areas associated with high-performing schools, district support for improvement, and respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds.
As a parent or caregiver, you should take one EES Family Survey for each school in which you have a child enrolled. As an employee, if you also have a child in GCPS, you should take the EES Staff Survey in addition to the Family Survey.
The survey will be available for you to complete through Friday, March 7. We hope you will lend your voice to making Gwinnett County Public Schools the best it can be for our students.

Problems get solved when families and teachers work together.
If you have a concern or issue with your child's teacher, the first person to discuss it with is the teacher. Ask to set up a conference, in person or online. If the issue concerns a grade, have the papers in question with you when you meet. If it's something your child has told you about, ask your child to give you specific details so you can discuss them with the teacher. Chances are, you and the teacher can work out a plan to resolve the issue. You'll also show your child that teamwork solves problems. Learn more here!
