We are collecting coats and winter gear in support of The Sharing Shelf! This is the perfect time to clear space in your home while helping local youth.

Second Graders will help keep count of the coats collected!

What Can Be Donated?

• Winter Coats: sizes infant - teen XXL (gently used and washed, pockets cleaned out)
• New Hats, Scarves, and Gloves: sizes infant - teen (like new condition will also be accepted)

What Condition Should the Donated Items Be In?

All coats MUST be in good, wearable condition. Nothing with rips, tears or stains. Items must be clean and ready for immediate distribution!

Where Will the Collection Bins Be Located?

Drop off bins will be located outside the offices at Daniel Warren. All Rye Neck families are welcome to donate during the collection time!

Thank you to the DW community for their contributions to the Candy Drive. We collected 132.4lbs of candy! The PTSA partnered with Rye Smiles who will send the candy to Troops.

Through this unified communications platform, you will be able to:

• Receive all District, school and classroom communications via email, text, or app

• View the school and classroom calendar and RSVP for events

• Easily sign up to volunteer and/or bring items

• Securely receive report cards, IEPs and other important student documents

• Communicate with teachers and staff safely in your preferred language

• And so much more…

We believe effective communication is essential to our relationship with the Rye Neck Community. As we prepare for the launch, we would like your feedback to help guide the way we use this platform so we can prioritize our community's needs.

Please take some time to complete the Communications Survey by Monday, November 18th. The survey should take less than 10 minutes, depending on how thorough you choose to be.

Second graders are reading nonfiction texts and exploring the text features to deepen their understanding.

Rye Neck 9th grader Immanuel Tan will be performing next Saturday with the Excelsior Symphony Orchestra at their Fall Concert! Rye Neck has a long history of both student and parent performers participating in the Excelsior Symphony Orchestra, formerly the St. Thomas Orchestra. You can find more information about their Fall Concert through ArtsWestchester.

When picking up your child early, please notify the main office by phone or email in advance. Early dismissal should take place prior to 2:30. After 2:30, we ask that you to wait till the regular time since staff are assisting and preparing for student dismissal.
