Hello Conroe Tiger Families,
It was wonderful to see our Tigers for our short week following the winter storm! They came in and picked up right where we left off! We would like to remind you about the importance of collaboration between home and school to help ensure our Tigers' success. We understand that navigating your child’s educational journey can sometimes be challenging. To support you, we have a variety of resources designed to assist both you and your child. If you need any assistance please get with your child's Assistant Principal or Counselor and they'll will work to get you the resource(s) you need. We appreciate you being an active participant in your child's education. Your support makes all the difference! Here are some important updates and reminders:
CLASS OF 2025
Parents of the Class of 2025, please be sure to see the Senior Dates Flyer below. There have been a few additions and a few changes.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES
Your students' Spring AP tests have been loaded into SchoolCash Online. All fees for spring testing are due by March 1, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the fees, please contact Kim Sprayberry (ksprayberry@conroeisd.net).
COURSE REGISTRATION INFORMATION NIGHT
Please plan to join us for 2025-2026 Course Registration Information Night on Thursday, January 30th from 6:30 - 7:30. Come hear information about graduation requirements, Naviance Accounts, Advanced Academics and more! This information night is recommended for parents of students currently in grades 9 - 11.
MOVIE NIGHT
Come join CHS Cheer team for a movie night on Friday, February 7 from 6pm-8:00pm. Scan QR Code on the screens to buy your tickets now. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
CHS CHEER SQUAD TRYOUTS
If your child is interested in trying out for the CHS Cheer Squad, please plan on attending one of the two mandatory try out meetings. Both meetings will be held in LGI at 6 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025 & Wednesday, February 12, 2025. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Longoria at blongoria@conroeisd.net
JUNIOR JUMPSTART
Mark your calendars for February 26th! Junior Jumpstart is an event you don’t want to miss.
What is Junior Jumpstart? It is a conference style informational night where you and your parents will have the opportunity to visit with college representatives from across the country and listen to them speak on various topics related to options after high school.
Some session topics include:
- Medical Careers Panel
- Admissions 101
- Fine Arts Majors
- Texas Public Universities
- Highly Selective Schools and the Holistic Review Process
- College Athletics
- ROTC/Military
- Transferring from a 2-year to a 4-year college
The event will be held at the new Jett Center by Woodforest Stadium in The Woodlands. You don’t want to miss it!!

CISD SPECIAL EDUCATION PARENT INPUT MEETINGS

STUDENT SAFETY REMINDERS
Students must wear a valid student ID that is visible, chest level and above, and on their person (not attached to a backpack or held in their hands).
Students should NOT open an exterior door to allow anyone to come inside.
Students are not allowed to leave campus unless they are checked out through our Attendance Office by a parent/guardian.
It is imperative that everyone follows these rules and expectations every day. Students who fail to follow our expectations will receive consequences.
STUDENT PARKING
We have a lot of student trying to park in Staff Parking. If your child has a parking pass, please tell them to park in the correct lot. We will be revoking Parking Tags for those student who don't follow the rules. Students who park on campus without a parking tag may be towed.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
CHS wants All Tigers to Achieve. A large part of student success is related to student attendance. We want to teach our Tigers all we can in the days that we have with them. Please encourage your student to attend every period to gain the knowledge they need to be successful. In the event your child does miss school, please be sure to email our attendance office or see the new Student Absence Reporting App information below. Also, please remind your child to get with their teacher about any work they missed. We would also like to remind you that your child will be at risk of losing credit and parents/guardians may have to go to court due to attendance.

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH
If you need to apply for the free and reduced lunch program please visit the Conroe ISD Child Nutrition website. If you are in need of information regarding the program please see the attached flyers for information. Students who were on free or reduced lunch year and have not filled out an application and requalified have been dropped. If you need assistance please contact ndefensor@conroeisd.net at CHS and acarlito@conroeisd.net at CHS 9.
CISD LUNCH CHARGE POLICY
Child Nutrition offers meal service for breakfast and lunch to the children of Conroe ISD from EC-12th grade on a daily basis during the school year. Students are allowed 15 days (breakfast and lunch) to charge their meals. Once the 15-day charges have expired, the student is no longer allowed to charge.
SPIRIT NIGHTS AND FUNDRAISERS
Please help our Conroe High Clubs and Organizations by attending a CHS Spirit Night Fundraiser. See the flyers under CHS Events below!
- Conroe Girls Soccer team will have a spirit night at Jason’s Deli on Saturday February 1st from 11am - 9pm
- Conroe Tiger Band will be having a mattress fundraiser in the CHS Cafeteria March 1st!
- Conroe Tiger Tennis has a fundraiser called RaiseRight. You can sign up to order physical gift cards, eGift cards and reloadable cards from RaiseRight, and a percentage of the sales goes directly to the Conroe Tiger Tennis Booster Club! Click HERE for details.
