This is Allen ISD’s 44th year to celebrate Love Week.

Love Week began in 1981 as a way for Allen High School to support a community member in need and has transformed into a yearly district-wide fundraiser for a local non-profit. This year’s Love Week beneficiary is Hope’s Door, which is a non-profit organization which offers prevention and intervention to individuals and families affected by domestic violence, as well as community education programs.

Love Week will be celebrated February 10th – 14th.

If you would like and are able, please purchase a Love Week shirt. These are available for pre-sales only from now through January 8th. These shirts will be worn on Friday, February 14th. To order, please use the follow SchoolPay link: Love Week Shirt

Note: Parental supervision is required - This is not a drop & shop event.

Please write your student's name inside lunch boxes, sweaters, jackets, etc. Also, encourage your child to check the lost and found for any missing belongings. All items that remain on December 20th will be donated over winter break.

Please consider supporting our library by SPONSORING A BOOK! With a $25 donation to the library, a book is purchased for our permanent collection and is inscribed with the donor’s name (student or family). They will then be the first to check the book out for 2 weeks. Please explain to your student/s that the book is a donation and will become part of the Olson Library collection for other students to check out after them. Dear Allen Parents,

The Allen ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar. The calendar was created through a collaborative process that included feedback from community members and staff via the District Improvement Plan Committee, as well as the Communications Council. Feedback was also collected from the Academic Calendar Committee, comprised of district and campus administrators, and through an online public survey available to parents and staff. Thank you to Ashley Crowson, Director of Community Services, who spearheaded this effort and chaired the Calendar Committee.

The official calendar is being shared with Allen ISD staff now, followed by Allen ISD parents and community members later today.

Highlights of the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar include:

· First Day of School: Tuesday, August 12, 2025

· Fall Break: October 13-17, 2025

· Thanksgiving Break: November 24-28, 2025

· Winter Break: December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026

· Spring Break: March 16-20, 2026

· Last Day of School: Friday, May 22, 2026
