Summer Scene Referrals

Referral Process Explained
Each school will have a specific number of spots available to refer students. The number of seats are duplicated from Summer 2024 and were allocated based on enrollment and TITLE I status.
Students who are referred will be given priority to attend the selected program for all four weeks over the summer at either a free or reduced rate.
ALL students who are being referred must make 50% or less of the State Medium Income (SMI). Please see chart below for reference!
How To Refer
All principals should designate point people from their building to complete the referral process. Each school should connect with their assigned Wraparound Coordinator/Family Support Coordinator to ensure that families on their caseloads are also included in these referrals.
Step 1: Contact the family and confirm they can commit to Monday - Friday from 7/7 - 8/1.
Step 2: Complete appropriate row in the appropriate tab on referral spreadsheet below.
Step 3: Send family the Google Form below and help them complete it as necessary.
The referral spreadsheet and Google Form MUST be completed in order to be referred. Registration links will be sent to families as referrals are approved. No referrals will be accepted beyond 3/28.
Final Notes
Not all referral spots are free this year. Free spots are noted in the spreadsheet through a green highlight and reduced spots are highlighted as yellow. The cost of a reduced spot is $200/week. Please do not change the color of the columns.
Referrals with IEP or 504 services like inclusion supports are not guaranteed programming if it is determined that the accommodations would be a fundamental alteration or would create undue financial or administrative burden. At any time, a staff member may also suggest the initiation of the inclusion process, which may result in a pause of programming.
