Dear Bear Creek Families,
Thank you for an amazing first week of school! Mrs. Rios, campus counselor, asked me a great question on Tuesday. "How many first days of school have you had?" If you consider the years I was a student and the years I have taught, the total is 43. Out of 43 First Days, this past Tuesday was by far my favorite. Our Team worked last year to tighten some systems and create new ones. By having over 90% of staff return for the 2024-2025 school year, we had a smooth first week.
Please let us have one more week before you join your child for lunch in the cafeteria. This gives us one more week to settle into routines and allow our younger Cubs to develop stamina. Remember when you join your child for lunch - you are eating with ONLY your child. We cannot release other students to you. There will be tables on the stage that you may use or the courtyard picnic tables.

Get ready to kick off the school year at Bear Creek Limits (BCL), our annual fall festival, on September 27th, from 5:30pm to 8pm right here on campus!
BCL promises an evening of fun and excitement for the entire family. From delicious food trucks to thrilling games including inflatables, a rock wall, dunk tank and eurobungy, face painters, a live DJ and more!! We've got local sponsors and PTA activity booths adding to the festivity. There's something for everyone, and we're cranking up the FUN meter!
