Weden's Weekly Update
February 3-7

Week of February 24, 2025
This is a big week for us at Celebration K-8! Our amazing PTA is holding our annual Boosterthon fundraiser. Our PTA has already been wildly successful raising money this year. The goal for this event is $25,000. As of this morning, they have already raised $23,588! While this number is impressive, and it will no doubt go towards projects that will enhance the experience of staff and students, this event is as much about coming together as a community as it is about raising money.
I have often said that Celebration K-8 is a unique school because of the community in which it is located. But location alone does not account for the incredible sense of community that is so rare in today's schools. It is organizations like the PTA that give us that sense of belonging, our sustained record of excellence, and our PRIDE in this amazing school. I truly believe our kids are lucky to have this school and this community.
Boosterthon is a chance for us all to get behind one cause and come together as a community. I encourage you to chip in and help however you can. Any little bit is enough for you to show your support. Because it's not about the money. It's about the kids!
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for making the 8th grade dance an unforgettable night.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to Jesi Lehman for outstanding coordination and Mr. Sarano for setting the stage for music and DJing. Your efforts and talent truly made the evening special and kept everyone dancing all night long.
Additionally, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the parents who helped with the setup and cleanup. Your support and hard work behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly and allowed the students to have a fantastic time.
It was a fun and memorable night, and it wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you. Thank you once again for your dedication and enthusiasm.
