Teachers Work on Lab Together To Increase Student Achievement 🀝

The Summit 5th grade science team meets regularly to discuss ways to help students learn a particular topic better. Recently, they gathered and worked on a lab assignment together where they were given few instructions up front but just told the basics of what to do. The teachers then took the same lesson back to their classroom and presented it to their students the same way. The goal was for the kids to think independently about solving a problem instead of having every piece of information given to them right away.
