HAVE YOU SIGNED UP FOR A CONFERENCE WITH YOUR CHILD'S HOMEROOM TEACHER?
Next week, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be 1:30 early release days due to student led conferences. Conferences are a valuable opportunity to connect with your child's teachers, celebrate the progess that's been made since the beginning of the year, and discuss how we can partner to support their continued success.
Things you can do before the conference:
- Review Your Child's Progress Report Before Coming to the Conference: The link to open your child's progress report will be sent home on Monday, March 10th. Please review the progress report in preparation for your conference.
- Talk with Your Child: Ask them how they feel about school, what they enjoy, and if they have any concerns.
- Review Class Materials: Look through recent assignments, grades, and any notices or messages from your child's teacher.
- Prepare Questions: Consider what you’d like to know more about, such as:
- How is my child progressing academically and socially?
- What are my child's strengths and areas for growth?
- How can I support my child learning at home?
- Share Information: Let your child's teacher know if there are any changes at home or concerns that might affect your child’s learning.
We look forward to partnering with you to ensure a continued positive and productive rest of the school year. Your continued support and encouragement is greatly appreciated.
Be well,
Tricia
We are kind...
Fifth grader, Gabe, completed a huge act of kindness! He let his hair grow for a year and did "the big chop" in order to donate his hair to Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids is a non-profit organization that helps children experiencing hair loss stemming from chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other medical conditions. We're extremely proud of you, Gabe and admire your selfless act of kindness! 💚
Dismissal starts are 3:20
Classrooms are called for dismissal at 3:20. Please communicate with us prior to 2pm if you have to change your child's regular dismissal plans. Emails to teachers after 2:30pm may not be seen until after dismissal. Phone calls to the office after 2pm should be for emergency pick-ups.
