Just Shave It Event!
The time has finally come for the Cal's Angels Just Shave it Event! It will take place at North High School next Saturday, March 14 at 5:00pm.
Even if you can't attend the event, we still have several opportunities to donate here at Ferson. We will be selling shirts and yellow hair extensions in the lobby before school Monday-Friday!
If you want a hair extension, you must print and fill out this waiver. We will not put an extension in without a waiver.
The yellow Cal's Angels shirts will be $12, hair extensions will be $10 and bracelets will be $1.
We accept cash or checks made out to Cal's Angels (no change please).
If you have any questions contact Stephanie Turner, Early Childhood teacher, at stephanie.turner@d303.org

Included as part of the grant reporting process is a parent survey. Please take a moment to complete the survey. Responses are anonymous and information gathered from the survey will help to provide feedback to Project Lead the Way as they plan for the future.

Coronavirus Update
With the increased intensity of news reports and social media posts regarding the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), comes speculation about the impact this virus may eventually have on school communities. It is important for you to know the most accurate and timely information about this health concern.
As the situation around COVID-19 changes, the Kane County Health Department, along with the Centers for Disease Control and the Illinois Department of Public Health, continue to monitor it and provide us with information.
· The Kane County Health Department has provided us with a fact sheet to explain ways in which you can help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses like the flu and COVID-19. It is included in this message.
· The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published a Frequently Asked Questions document that specifically addresses concerns about children and the virus. It explains that, so far, there is no evidence to suggest that children are more susceptible to the virus than the general population.
· The Canadian Broadcasting Company has created a short video “Get the Facts on Coronavirus” that is posted at KaneHealth.com.
For additional information, please visit the following websites or call the Illinois Department of Public Health hotline at 1-800-889-3931.

The safety, health, and well-being of our staff, students and school community will, as always, continue to be our priority. We will continue monitoring the development of COVID-19 and plan accordingly in partnership with local, state, and federal health and government officials.
