From the desk of Christopher Lowe, Principal

Community Newsletter : March 2025
Good morning, Woolie families!
Welcome to March! It's hard to believe that we are already approaching the mid-way mark for Term 3. The year is certainly flying by!
Since our return from the break our school has been off to a great start and we are looking to continue building upon that momentum as we proceed through the rest of the month!
March is an extremely busy month for us here at the junior-senior high school. We are in active preparations for all of our upcoming MCAS testing windows, parent conferences, a variety of co-curricular and athletic events, and all while scheduling for the next year and preparing for Graduation and our end-of-the-year activities.
Please be sure to check back in on the newsletter throughotu the month to stay on top of all that is taking place.
As always, we appreciate your continued support!
Sincerely,
Chris Lowe

Congratulations to our Jr. District Festival Award Winners
Jr Districts is an auditioned festival for students grades 7-9. Students from schools across the entire central districts of Massachusetts are eligible to audition, and only a small percentage receive high enough scores to participate. This year, 6 students from the Millbury Jr High School were accepted into the festival, including students for both band and chorus. We look forward to seeing these students perform at the festival later this year!

Campus Update
Our Podcasting Studio is now LIVE!
As we continue expanding how we look at teaching and learning, we are thrilled to share that we have our Podcast Studio up and running!
Our students had expressed an interest in understanding how all aspects of podcasting works, as well as using podcasting as an alternative way of completing certain assignments and lessons in school.
Mr. Cunha, who is in charge of both our Business and Technology Department, as well as our Video Productions courses, approached administration about supporting the students interests and creating a Podcasting Studio for all students to access.
A special thanks to all of our students who voiced their interest and to Mr. Cunha for researching what we would need to make it happen!
Be on the lookout for some official student Podcasts in the future!
