Spirit Tee Tuesday is EVERY Tuesday! - Students may wear their regular uniform or a St. Eugene spirit tee with jeans or uniform bottoms.

Don't forget ALL students dismiss at 2pm EVERY Tuesday!

Teachers have sent home information about ClassTag. Please make sure you have signed up with each of your children's classrooms, or you will miss important news.

ClassTag serves two communication purposes:

1) Teachers can pin announcements, newsletters, reminder and even class photos to keep you in the loop!

2) School Info Alerts are shared in “quick bits” to alert parents to specific info such as reminders, events, important alerts, etc.

You should set your ClassTag account so that you receive an “alert” on your phone much like a text pops up. Your own phone settings control set sound. ClassTag is only used by teachers and school staff. All parents should have an activation code. If you do not receive one, please contact your child’s teacher. Every student should have a parent/guardian connected to their ClassTag classroom - ideally all guardians would be connected in case we need to push out an alert.

The Catholic School of St. Eugene is hiring to fill a Part Time Substitute position AND looking for more subs for our on-call substitute list. Please fill out an application and contact Mrs. Goldsworthy. Must have Safe Environment training. If you know any good candidates who may be interested, please share!

We are still hiring support staff positions to help monitor student lunch periods. Duties include sanitizing between classes/lunch periods, passing out student boxes or sack lunches, and helping students with lunch procedures and expectations.

Monday through Friday 11am - 1pm. Must be safe environment trained with background check, etc.

Allergies or COVID? Stomach bug or COVID? It can be hard to decipher what ailment might be affecting your child. Please remember to have your questions answered and ready to show on your phone. We also check those daily - please make sure to answer each day and not show us a previous date's result. bit.ly/FamilyDailyQs

Please use the Absentee Form to report absences AND email your child’s teacher/house homeroom. It is important to communicate why your child is missing school with the teacher and document through the Google form.

Although the school library is not yet open, books are due! Many students took book homes before our extended Spring Break, and others were able to take advantage of extra book check out offered back in May. Please check bookshelves, under beds, in cars, and other hiding places around the house for books with the St. Eugene Library barcode on the front cover. Mrs. Hattaway would love to have all the books back in the library and ready for students to check out soon! Students may drop off books in bin in the circulation desk. Books will be quarantined for at least 48 hours before recirculating as recommended by the American Library Association.

If a book has been damaged beyond repair or lost, please contact Mrs. Hattaway to request replacement cost. Please do not buy a replacement copy on your own as there is a cost to processing and preparing a book for circulation. Mrs. Hattaway would almost always prefer to have the original book back whenever possible.

Are you a CSSE Eagle Dad? Dads' Club invites you to join their organization! Dads' Club exists to support the school through volunteer support and fundraising efforts. You may have seen photos on social media of dads helping with fix-its around the school, or participating in fundraisers like Trivia Night or the Cornhole Tournament. Please pray for the grandfather of Sarah, Charlotte & William Elder who is in the hospital fighting an illness. | Please pray for Mrs. Lupp's uncle, Dewayne Stewart, who is in the hospital on a ventilator. He was taken to the hospital for issues related to his liver disease and diabetes. His condition is serious. | Pray for all those who have been affected by Covid-19, whether by sickness, loss of job, isolation, or loneliness, etc. May all find strength, comfort and healing in this difficult time. | Pray for our staff who have been putting in many extra hours to prepare for the upcoming school year. Please pray for students and their families. May God grant us all patience and wisdom as we navigate a very different school year. Help us put our faith first and give grace to all.
