A Message from Principal Cutone
June 7, 2024
Dear HES Caregivers,
This week, our Sharks completed their MAP testing, and we have so much growth to celebrate! It’s incredible to see how far each Shark has come since September. Your support at home has been crucial, and we are all proud of the hard work of our Sharks and their teachers.
We are now in serious countdown mode with only seven more wakeups left in this school year. Along with many exciting field trips, here are the upcoming events:
Wednesday, June 12, 2024: Field Day
Thursday, June 13, 2024: Field Day Rain Date
Friday, June 14, 2024: All Shark Flag Day Assembly
Monday, June 17, 2024: Grade 4 Graduation Ceremony at 9:30 am
Tuesday, June 18, 2024: Last Day of School with a 10:50 am Dismissal
K-3 Step Up Day
End of Year Slideshow
We hope to see many of you helping out with Field Day (here’s the link), and we also warmly invite caregivers and family members to the Grade 4 Step Up Ceremony.
Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!
Best regards,
Christie

Notes from the Nursing Office
Wow, just over a week to go before Summer Break! I hope everyone is looking forward to a well deserved rest.
Anyone whose child has a medication housed here at school will need to pick it up on June 18th. At that time, you will be given a letter explaining what we need from you before the start of school next year to administer it or any other medication. If you cannot pick it up on this date, contact me as soon as possible to make other arrangements. Any medications that are left here after the school year ends will be disposed.
If you have not submitted your child’s most recent physical, please do so now. All fourth graders should have a current physical in their file prior to moving on to middle school. If for some reason you cannot get one for your child, please let me know. If your child chooses to participate in sports next year they will need one.
Lost and Found
Please come by the HES lobby to claim your Shark's lost sweatshirts, hats, gloves, water bottles, and more! Items will be donated to charity after June 14th.
