What you may have noticed at the new field, is a lot of dirt and rock moving. The new turf is rolled up so that the contractor has access to the surface beneath.

What we found since last fall's deluge of rain is that the field was not training as expected and required based on how the job was bid. Therefore, the contractor is back laying down a different stone that has already been tested prior to the work starting and does meet the standard for how quickly the turf field should drain.

Once the new surface is completed, the turf company will return and re-install the turf. The turf company stands by its warranty and guarantees that the process of rolling it up and laying it back down will not reduce the field's quality nor the lower the life of the turf. So that is good news.

Track final coating expected beginning of August.

The multi-purpose room is up and ready to go! Few last minute items for electronics, but we will have it open at High School Open House for you to check it out!
