Dear WSD Parents/Caregivers,

I’ve had the privilege of meeting many of you at various district events, including music concerts, sporting events, and other gatherings that showcase the vibrant spirit of our community. Many of you have taken a few moments to introduce yourselves and share what makes you proud to be part of Wiss Nation. Your warm embrace has been both inspiring and humbling, reinforcing my excitement about the journey ahead as your incoming superintendent.

As we continue to connect and build relationships, I want to remind you of the upcoming opportunities for engagement and dialogue with me. These events are central to my commitment to listening, learning, and leveraging the strengths of our district as we plan for the future together.

These informal drop-in sessions are an opportunity for us to connect in a relaxed setting. I’ll be stationed in the lobby area in the District Administration Office, with coffee and cookies, between 6:00-6:45pm. Please feel welcome to stop by at your convenience to say hello, introduce yourself, and share what makes our district special to you. These Meet and Greet sessions are scheduled on the same night as our Public Board Meetings, which start at 7:00pm. You are welcome to drop in to say hello and, if your schedule permits, you are welcome to stay and attend the Public Board Meeting.

• Monday, March 3, 2025, between 6:30-7:00pm

This more formal gathering will include a structured agenda – I’ll start with a brief presentation followed by structured discussions in smaller groups. Your insights will play a key role in helping me understand the community’s hopes and priorities for our district.
