Important Dates
Course Request Dates for 2025-2026
It’s almost time to start selecting courses for the 2025-2026 school year. The Course Request Window will be open by grade level according to the dates below. Please make sure to log into your Synergy/StudentVue account to select your courses during your course request window.
Counselors will meet one-on-one with students throughout the month of February to review their course selections. Additional resources and information can be found on our Course Registration Newsletter.
As students in each grade level are selecting courses, we may find that some Electives are reaching a maximum capacity based on class size limitations. These courses will close for registration for the next grade level, and we will add them to the Course Interest List. Students can indicate their interest in taking the class on the Course Interest List if any spots become available.
We also have a 4-year Planning Presentation available on the Westview Counseling website, under Presentations. This gives you an in-depth look at how to use the 4-yr plan to review credits, graduation requirements, and college entrance requirements. https://tinyurl.com/rhrlrqt
Senior Information
Senior Mid Year Reports
Requesting a Mid-Year Report
Please verify if the colleges/universities that you applied to require mid-year reports and transcripts. Most UC & CSU campuses do not require mid-year grades, but some do. Please check your online portal to see if these need to be sent. In order to have the colleges receive these materials, you will need to complete the Mid-Year Report Counselor Request Form. It is critical that you confirm the accuracy of your grades in Synergy prior to completing the form. Once received, we will be submitting via Common App or SCOIR on a weekly basis. Make sure the colleges you applied to are accurate in SCOIR and in your Common App account. You can start requesting mid-year reports on January 7, 2025. The first batch of mid-year reports will be going out on January 21, 2025. The deadline to submit your mid-year report request is February 7, 2025. Please contact your counselor with any questions.

PUSD Volunteer Newsletter
PUSD is partnering with the local organizations featured in this newsletter that is kept updated by my office as I work on developing partnerships with local nonprofits, community organizations and businesses. We would appreciate it if you could post and communicate it to students and parents on an ongoing basis to help fill the need for volunteers by various nonprofits and organizations located within PUSD. It helps build a sense of belonging for our students and community.
Various tutoring options are available on campus in a variety of subject areas. Tutoring is held in the library from 3:45 - 5:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We also offer one-on-one tutoring. Students can use our One-on-One Tutoring Request 24-25 to request this service. Please share this information with your students that need additional support.
We are also looking for more tutors. If you have students who are willing to volunteer their time and skills, please have them complete our Wolverine Tutor Survey 24-25.
