Two Weeks Left!
Semester Ending Soon...
Lincoln Families,
It’s hard to believe, but we are just two weeks away from the end of the semester and the start of winter break! As we head into this final stretch, we want to thank you for your continued partnership and support in helping your students stay focused and finish the semester strong.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers or our school staff if there’s anything we can do to support your student during this time.

Lions Leading! Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices
Thank you!
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Moazzez and Mrs. Milwe for leading an impactful professional development session on Multilingual Learners and their connection to Culturally Responsive Teaching.
Their expertise and thoughtful presentation deepened our understanding of how to honor and support the diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds of our students. This work is essential as we continue to create inclusive classrooms where every learner feels valued and empowered to thrive.
We are grateful for their commitment to helping us grow as educators and for equipping us with tools to better serve our students. Please join me in recognizing their efforts and dedication!

What an incredible performance by our talented Choir on Thursday night! The students’ hard work, dedication, and passion for music truly shined, and it was a joy to see them share their gifts with our community.
A special recognition goes to our wonderful Choir teacher, Mrs. Counte, for her guidance, creativity, and commitment to our students. Her efforts continue to inspire and bring out the best in our young musicians.

Private School Letters of Recommendation
Please Read
At Lincoln Middle School, our teachers and staff are committed to providing students with rigorous academic experiences paired with the social-emotional support essential for adolescent development.
While we respect that some families may choose to pursue alternative educational opportunities, we kindly refrain from writing letters of recommendation for students.
Contact Monica Williams in the Main Office at mwilliams@smmusd.org to request student records and a letter from our school explaining that our policy regarding letters of recommendation does not reflect on you as a student. Thank you

8th Grade Field Day!
Friday, September 13th
On December 13 Friday, our 8th graders will be participating in an all-day Field Day. This is a great opportunity for the students to connect and engage with their peers as a community. Each homebase has designed a non-athletic and an athletic activity for the students of the other core to participate in.
After a morning of activities, the students will be having lunch provided by the PTSA and will then participate in a whole grade core activity. To make this happen we need your volunteer support. Please sign-up here to help make this Field Day fun for the students and teachers. We appreciate you!
Winter Band Concert

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming LMS Band Concert, led by our talented band director, Mr. Munoz!
This event will showcase the hard work and dedication of our student musicians. It promises to be an evening filled with incredible performances and community pride!
