A Message From the Principal
Good afternoon,
Spring is in full bloom, and with it comes a renewed energy in our school community! April has brought exciting opportunities for learning, growth, and celebration. From classroom projects, field trips, and preparing for end-of-year events, our students continue to impress us with their curiosity and enthusiasm. As we head into the final stretch of the school year, let’s continue to support one another, stay engaged, and celebrate the many accomplishments that make our school so special. Thank you for being such a vital part of our school family! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions regarding school activities.
Reminder that there is no school on Friday, April 18th. School resumes on Monday, April 21st.
Some 7th graders will be attending a field trip to Springfield on April 24-45; 7th graders not attending the Springfield field trip will travel to Kenosha, WI to the Civil War Museum on April 24.
Warm Regards,
Emily Loerakker
Fremont MS Principal

8th Grade Dance Information from Dance Committee
The 8th grade dance committee is hard at work planning this year's dance with one goal in mind.
We want our children to SHINE.
The theme “SHINE” was molded to celebrate each and every student for their differences, strengths, and their many accomplishments. Collectively, they SHINE brighter as one.
Together, they have made this an amazing 8th-grade class, and we wish to celebrate all they have done. And in order to make this dance SHINE as bright as possible, we need your help.
As part of this celebration, we’re putting together a slideshow that will be displayed at the dance. To help us make this as meaningful as possible for both the kids and volunteers, we’re asking for the following.
- Please provide 1-5 photos of your child on this Google Photo Link. (Try to keep it to five photos maximum. If more than 5 photos are submitted from one family, we will only take the first five.) The best kinds of photos are groups of kids and not individual pictures of your children. Please have your photos submitted no later than *FRIDAY, MAY 2ND*
- The dance committee has put together a party supplies list, and we’re looking for your support. We have put together an 8th Grade Dance Parent Purchase Wishlist, and any purchase made will go directly to the dance. We are incredibly grateful for any contribution you are willing to make.
- Please RSVP on this Google Form by May 16 to help us get an accurate count!
One last thing!
***MONETARY DONATIONS***
If you would like to contribute money towards the 8th-grade dance, we would certainly
appreciate any and all donations. All funds will go towards the purchase of paper
goods, food, decor and more.
Monetary donations can be sent to: @fremont-pto*Please list *8th grade dance in the notes section*
Thank you all for your support in advance. We can’t wait to give these children an
amazing memory at the end of their 8th-grade year. Here’s to watching them SHINE.
