Hello NMS Families,
Trimester 1 report cards are being sent home today and are also available to view in Aspen. Report cards are an important tool for understanding your child’s progress, strengths, and areas for growth. Teacher comments provide valuable insights into your child’s performance, effort, and engagement in the classroom.
We encourage you to take time to review the report card with your child, celebrate their achievements, and set meaningful goals for the next trimester. This is a great opportunity to have a positive, open conversation about their learning and how they can continue to grow.
If you have any questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher. They’re happy to partner with you to support your child’s success.
We are looking forward to meeting with parents and caregivers next week for conferences. A reminder that dismissal will be at 11:05 both next Monday and Tuesday. There is no school on Wednesday, November 27.
We wish you and yours a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving. We are thankful that you share your children with us each day.
Warm regards,
Lauren Young and Evan Worth

Fossil Fun!
This week, our sixth graders had an amazing opportunity to observe and identify different types of fossils! 🦖🪨 They carefully handled real specimens, analyzing their unique features and learning how to classify them. Watching their curiosity come alive as they uncovered the stories of the past was incredible!
A big shoutout to our science team for bringing this interactive learning experience to life. 🧪✨

The Egg Drop!
🚀 Egg Drop Challenge Success! 🥚💡
Our seventh graders recently took on the Egg Drop Challenge as part of a unit on air resistance and energy conversions between potential and kinetic energy. They had a blast designing creative contraptions to protect their eggs, including boxes, parachutes, stuffed animals, and even a toilet paper roll!
The excitement peaked as they dropped their creations from three stories high in the stairwell, testing their designs in action. 🏗️✨ Way to go, 7 Blue – your creativity and engineering skills were truly egg-cellent!

Pepperell Dog Tag Winner
A huge thank you to our amazing students and community for coming together to vote on this year’s dog tag design! 🐾 Your enthusiasm made this such a fun and meaningful experience.
We’d also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Town Clerk, Brynn Durno, for involving us in this special decision and giving our students the opportunity to make their voices heard. It's moments like these that highlight the strong bond between our school and the community.
