Handicap Accessible Doors: You may have noticed the addition of Handicap Accessible Doors at the main entrance. We are glad to have them to provide a needed accommodation for some in our community. On April 3rd, Mrs. DeMint and Mrs. Winkelmann will pass out books to the oldest child's classroom for each EL Family to take home from the Spring Student Showcase to read, and enjoy the magic found in unexpected places!
Another fun twist is this year, we need your help by voting with your child(ren) for the book character duo that Mr. Collier and Dr. Doss will dress up like on Friday, April 4th for the entire day in honor of celebrating the magic in reading! Cast your vote now! The form closes on March 25th.

Lead Studio kid-friendly forensic scientist event! April 2nd- Sign Up!
LEAD student Victoria Dewitt is completing a capstone project that is meant to expose elementary and middle school students (grades 4 - 7) to a fun and engaging forensic science activity in the hopes of generating more interest for the high school program. She has created a kid-friendly, life-size crime scene at LEAD Innovation Studio. Families can walk through this scene and experience life as forensic scientist. This event will take place after school on April 2nd and will have multiple time slots. If your Park Hill student is in grades 4-7, you can sign up to bring them at the link below:

BRIDGES Families
EL Families,
Front Row Seats to each of our Grade Level Musicals are auctioned off each year. Mark your calendars for the week of April 14th-18th to bid on NEXT YEAR’S musicals (2025-2026 School Year). All proceeds benefit ALL EAGLES through the purchase of additional music room materials.
Just think: when doors open on musical night at 6:30pm and you haven’t had to be outside waiting in line and you’re able to leisurely walk to the gym knowing that you have the best seats in the house… your present self will be thanking your past self! There are 4 sets of 4 seats that will be auctioned off for each evening musical performance.
Winning bids will be collected by check the week of April 21st-25th.
Visit https://www.32auctions.com/EL_Musicals25-26 to create your account and prepare to BID! Of note: you are notified via email if you are outbid; keep an eye out for those last-minute bids!
Please contact Mrs. Carney with any questions. Good luck, and thank you for supporting our English Landing Music Room!

News from the PBIS Team
The PBIS team has analyzed behavior data from 3rd quarter and developed our Solution Plan. The biggest behavior concern identified was physical aggression/contact on the playground as an area we should address. Of our 47 Minor referrals, 15 of these were for physical contact/aggression. The playground was the location where the greatest number of these occurred. We have developed a Solution plan with a goal to reduce these by 50% for the 4th quarter. We will re-teach expectations, reinforce replacement behaviors like “Stop. Walk, Talk”, provide active supervision of “hot spots” for aggression on the playground, and provide incentives for students to use the strategies to avoid physical conflict.
Parents can help with this by asking their kids what “Stop, Walk, Talk” is and encouraging them to use this strategy to help make English Landing a safer place for ALL students. We appreciate your support in our efforts.
