Morning Announcement 6/2/2020

5th Grade Student and Parent Reminder

Our 5th grade students have been asked to give provide information for the recognition ceremony by completing a Google Slide for their teachers. This information is a very important part of the recognition day ceremony. I am asking parents to please check with their children to make sure that it is completed.

Also, they will be asked to do other videos for our recognition day virtual ceremony. Please keep on top of them to make sure that those videos get done and sent back as soon as they are needed.

I thank you in helping me make sure the end of the year is great for our 5th graders!

Pick Up Of Student Materials

There were some parents that were unable to pick up student materials. The next pick up is Tuesday, June 2nd from 10am-12pm. Those of us that still have materials at the school, will receive an email today with further instructions.

Act of Kindness: Collection for the Food Pantry by Noah Smid, 3D!

Let's Continue to support Noah!

Noah Smid in Mrs. Dowd's class has seen a need and wants to address it. He is collecting food for the food pantry in town. The Smid Family is asking that donations be dropped off at their house, 51 Mandeville Avenue. There will be a collection box on the front steps so people can drop off without having contact thus practicing social distancing. We are proud of Noah!

Mrs. Lynes and Mr. Im- Breathing Exercises to Help with Stress

These Are Stressful Times...

Being unable to see friends or family, and not having the ability to participate in regular activities is stressful. People working during these times is also stressful as is not working. Teaching our kids at home is stressful. If the stress is becoming a lot, we have two good resources below for parents and we have other resources too. Don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Im, Mrs. Vacca, or I as well.
