Special COVID-19 edition
Patience and Persistence
While we are facing unprecedented times, we ask each other for patience and we desire to see the persistence each of you will take to finish strong this school year.
We will all need patience as we pursue learning and teaching through a different method. You know your teachers truly believe in a Growth Mindset since they are learning new methods of delivering lessons for the next few weeks. So, those of you who work well with technology, please make yourself available to help others, your teachers and fellow students or parents.
Grit is a core belief at CCA because we know it comes from an internal strength that will provide success in the future. We all will need to demonstrate true grit during this time to stay on top of our daily/weekly assignments while surrounded by distractions.
As so many of us are demonstrating kindness to our neighbors, please stay safe and healthy. Thank you to all who work in essential industries and make it possible for all our needs to be met.
Crowley ISD has worked to be able to respond to our families as quickly as possible. If you have not already visited the CISD Online Support Center website, please visit this page frequently. You should also be receiving emails from CISD with updates of information. The most recent email included plans for Meal pick-ups, Chromebook devices or Internet Hot Spots for homes without, and a Survey to help us respond better. Please complete this Survey, so we know how we can support all our families during the next few weeks.
Please let me know if you need support in any way,

TCC Classes begin Online March 23
Please make sure you are able to log into your MyTCC account.
Most of your TCC professors will be using Blackboard Collaborate. We have asked Crowley ISD Technology Department to help ensure that this program works for you, so please be patient if you encounter errors. And, please let us know if something does not work.
Time Management While Working at Home
TCC professors plan to follow the same class bell schedule. So, your 2B class will start promptly at 9:30 Tuesday morning and go until 10:50. You will have assignments from your TCC professors according to their syllabus, which may or may not have been updated due to the campus closure. We know this will create anxiety and want to help you manage the way you spend your time. It will be important to work on time management this week, so you are prepared for the increase in your assignments next week when your high school classes pick back up.

Crowley ISD Log In
For your TCC classes, you should use your TCC login through Google Chrome. If you use Google Chrome for your high school classes, you will need to learn how to toggle between Google accounts (using the account circle in the top right corner). If you have trouble, you may wish to try Microsoft Edge for high school classes and Google Chrome for TCC classes.
If you have trouble with your Crowley ISD log in, please visit the CISD Online Support Center for instructions Step One:Logging In to Clever.
CCA teachers will help or connect you with one of our teachers or scholars who can.
