We were so glad to welcome our students back after a week of emergency virtual learning. We continue to work to keep everyone safe and well so that we can remain face-to-face. We need your help! Please remember:

Students who have any signs of illness must stay home.
Students who are being tested for COVID cannot come to school while waiting on test results.
If a student tests positive, contact the school nurse as soon as possible.
If there is someone in the home that has tested positive or a student has been in close contact with someone who has COVID, the student cannot come to school.
Contact the school nurse about these situations as soon as possible to receive the date the student can return to school.

How can you help us go above and beyond?

Consider wearing masks - they are highly encouraged and were helpful last year. We have a supply of masks in the office if your children need them.
We are finding many positive cases involve sinus and cold symptoms. If your child has these symptoms, please keep them home. Remember, they have to be fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication.
Build immune systems by getting plenty of rest, eating well, and exercising.
Wash hands... use hand sanitizer.... play outside rather than inside.
Practice social distancing while inside.

We are excited to be back face-to-face and are committed to remaining that way!

Field Day is October 8!

If you would like to order a field day t-shirt and/or bag, please be on the lookout for an order form coming home this week. These can be ordered on the MySchoolBucks website using the link www.myschoolbucks.com or the app. The order form will include a QR code that can be scanned to access the site. The due date for all orders is Wednesday, September 15.

Title 1 Parent/School Compact and Parent/Family Engagement Policy

Families- your child attends a Title 1 school. During our Open House event, you will find out more about what that means. Part of being a part of a Title 1 school is jointly developing two documents that will help with for the success of your child! We will begin the year with "draft" versions of these documents and ask you to give feedback before developing the final version. Please find the draft versions below. We would ask all of you to read over these and give any suggestions or feedback as soon as possible. Paper copies of these documents will be coming home with your child in the coming days. Spanish versions will also be available. Our Title 1 Planning Team will look over the suggestions in our meeting planned for September 28, 2021. All feedback is greatly appreciated!

Technology Fee

Pay the Tech It Home fee right here! The $20 fee must be paid annually. To pay for device insurance fee of $20, parents must use MySchoolBucks on a computer. Please do not use the MySchoolBucks app on your phone as that payment will only go towards your lunch account and the app payments will NOT go to your device. Just use a computer and view our School Store for a list of purchases like our $20 tech insurance fee.
