McMillen AVID would like you or someone you know to be a guest speaker in our AVID classes this year! AVID is a college-prep program that features in-depth career studies. We love to have guest speakers from a variety of professions and trades. These guest speakers tell their stories, share their passion, take questions, and talk about their work – the education and action steps required to land a job in their specific career field. If you or someone you know would like to impact the lives of young students who are trying to figure out what to major in when they get to college or their post-high school training, please email our AVID coordinator, Mike Abney, at Michael.abney@pisd.edu. Girls Basketball Tryouts
Our second round of girls basketball tryouts will begin on Wednesday, September 25th and end on Friday, September, 27th (depending on the numbers). The tryout will be held before school from 8-845am.
