EMES School Newsletter
It was great to see so many of you at EMES last Friday for our spring student-led conferences. This is a time of year when students are excited to show the work they've been doing, the goals they've set, and the progression their skills have taken over these months of school. Thank you for taking the time to come in to meet with your child and celebrate their learning with them! We are so proud of the work and thought they put into planning what they will share with you and talking about their growth over the course of this school year.
I am excited to let you know that Registered Nurse, Barbara Liberty, joined EMES this morning. She spent today learning about students and staff, reviewing medical plans, and getting acclimated to our school. Nurse Dave Mathies will be here later this week to train her on our nursing software and to continue to show her the ropes. Please stop by the health office to welcome Nurse Barbara to our school! Barbara will be with us through the spring and can be reached at bliberty@u32.org.
As a staff, we have started to identify end of year dates and events that have been added to the calendar below. We are excited to have Spring Wellness Day, spring concerts, a Celebration of Learning, the Talent Show, and Field Day again this year. Some dates are not yet finalized - they will be coming soon! For now, please mark your calendar with the events listed below.
