Math Skills for the week:
The students will: explore with base 10 blocks and measurement, review and practice with comparison symbols in number stories, and 2 digit addition and subtraction.
Vocabulary words: base 10 blocks, measure, <,>,=, more than, less than, addition.
Explore with base ten blocks and measurement
Students will use base 10 blocks to show values for single digit and 2 digit numbers.
Comparison Symbols
We continue to practice comparing single digit and 2 digit numbers, review the symbol names, and apply them in an equation.
2 digit addition and subtraction
Students will learn how to use their number grid to solve 2 digit number stories and number sentences.

Top 20- The Frame
This week we will continue with our lesson on "The Frame". Students will learn about trying to reframe or look at a situation from another perspective.
Reminders
- Please make sure to send in warm outwear with your child for recess. Students need: boots, snow pants, coats, hats, and mittens.
- Some of the students are getting VERY close to reaching their AR goal of passing 50 tests. Thank you for your help at home to encourage independent reading.
