The first day of school for students is Thursday, August 7th.

TCS Families whose kids ride the bus: Stopfinder invites are out!
Invitations for the 2025–26 school year went out on July 2. Be sure to check your email—including your spam/junk folder.
Stopfinder is our all-in-one transportation app for real-time updates on your child’s bus location, ETA, stop info, and more. You can even message our transportation team directly.

Student Schedules
Students and parents are able to view student schedules via PowerSchool. We will also hold schedule pick up dates on the following dates:
- July 31 - 10am to 1pm
- August 1 - 2pm to 4pm
Additionally, students have the first 5 days of each semester to submit a schedule change request form. Please note that we cannot honor all requests. We do expect students to follow their assigned schedule. If a change is processed, students will be notified and provided a new copy of their schedule.
Parking Pass Info
Hard copies of the parking packet are available in the main office. You can also find digital copies on the school website and attached below. All student drivers are required to complete this process in order to avoid tickets.

Class of 2026 Senior Photos
Hey Class of 2026! Believe it or not, it's time for you to schedule your Senior Photos. This year, we are excited to partner with a new photography company, Iron City Studios.
You can go ahead NOW and schedule your Senior Photos for this summer. You will take your Senior Formal Photo (Tux & Drape), Cap & Gown Photo and optional casual outfit photo all at the same session.
They will be on our campus for photos on July 29, 30 and 31st. You can schedule your session on one of those days and have the convenience of coming to NHS for the pictures. If you already know those dates won't work for you, we will have a make-up day on campus on September 18 (we will provide sign up information for that later). You also now have the option of going to their studio to take your pictures at any point after June 1. They are located in Hoover, so we understand this may not be feasible for everyone. But this is much closer than our previous company, so hopefully this is an improvement for some.
Parents/guardians- One of our favorite things about this company is they WANT/ENCOURAGE you to attend with your Senior. You will be able to view the photos, select the one you want in your Senior yearbook, AND purchase at the session. Iron City Studios wants you to be happy with your photos and works to guarantee that! We are very excited about this new feature.

Complete this form to register for the Sanderson Basketball Academy. Camps will be held at the Belk Center (2101 Bowers Park Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405).
Session One: July 14th-17th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Price: $190)
Session Two: July 28th-31st, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Price: $190)
Our focus during these sessions will be fundamental skill development training in: ball-handling & dribble moves, shooting technique, footwork & live ball moves, and basketball concepts. There will also be daily contests and games. Campers will be divided by age and skill level.
Bring: a basketball if you would like (we will also have basketballs), a drink, & wear clothing to play basketball in.
LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE! Only 60 campers are allowed per session, so make sure to sign up early! Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt at the end of the week. Campers will need to bring money to purchase concessions during break.
