Welcome to a New School Year at Clear Fork High School!
Hello Students and Parents!
Welcome back to an exciting year at Clear Fork High School. It is hard to believe that summer is coming to an end quickly and that we already have our athletes back at the school practicing! As we start this new academic year, we are filled with enthusiasm and anticipation for the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead. The staff and the teachers have been preparing the building and organizing the classes for the upcoming year and we cannot wait to have the students in the building.
Last year the CFHS staff and students kicked off the new Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program for the High School. You will be seeing and hearing about "COLT P.R.I.D.E. Valley Wide" as we work to support students. PRIDE stands for Purpose, Readiness, Inclusive, Determination, and Engagement. Students will have the chance to be recognized for their efforts and achievements and have the ability to earn Colt Cash for prizes.
We are also excited to be offering a new program through our Vocational Agriculture program which will enable student to become a certified Drone Pilot by completing the Part 107 training courses. We will also continue to offer a wide variety of classes and clubs to meet the needs of our students. We encourage everyone to take full advantage of these opportunities and to get involved in the various clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities available.
We encourage you to keep up with the events and news at the high school through a variety of outlets:
- Sign up for Remind Alerts
- Complete Final Forms and check your email for communication from the school through Final Forms.
- Access Progress Book/Grade Book at least weekly to check grades
- Students can sign up for the CFHS Student Google Classroom using code: qkqmrqy
- Look for the monthly CFHS Newsletters (a link to the digital newsletter is sent through Remind)
- Checkout the Clear Fork Valley Local Schools Facebook page
We want this year to be a memorable and successful year for our students. We are looking forward to working with students and families. We hope that the students will challenge themselves, set high goals, and to remember that every day is a new opportunity.
With excitement for the upcoming year,
Jennifer Klaus
Clear Fork High School Principal
