Student Election Judges for November 5 General Election
Experience democracy in action helping veteran Election Judges run the November 5th general election as voters choose the next President of the United States. Election Judges help make it possible for citizens to exercise their right to vote. You must be between the ages of 15 and 17, and the election board wants to match WGHS students with Webster Groves polling places. (18 year old students can apply to be an Election Judge.) Choose to earn Service Hours or receive payment for your time. This looks great on college applications! Find more information and register on the GivePulse event at bit.ly/2024judge, or come see us in the Chelsea Center room 200 and we will get you set up.
WGHS Sophomore Lilah Oelke Presents at National Medical Conference
Lilah Oelke, WGHS sophomore, presented at the 12th Annual Scientific Sessions conference hosted by the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative and St. Louis Children’s Hospital last week.
Lilah is passionate about supporting those with adolescent heart disease. Her presentation focuses on her experiences at Camp Rhythm and her involvement with the teen Pulse group she created. Through her participation in Pulse via The Chelsea Center, she has earned academic credit and gained invaluable experience during internships at Mighty Oakes and the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation. Lilah's dedication and passion for making a difference are truly inspiring.
We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and look forward to seeing her continue to shine.
