Two NCC CHAMPION teams:
- Boys Wrestling
- Boys Track & Field (2nd year in a row)
One NCC COACH OF THE YEAR:
- Ken Cawthon, Boys Swimming
Two IHSAA SECTIONAL CHAMPION teams:
- Boys Soccer (1st title in School HISTORY)
- Softball (1st title since 2016)
One REGIONAL CHAMPION team:
- Girls Wrestling (1st title in School HISTORY in the IHSGW)
One STATE FINALIST team:
- Unified Track (1st time in School HISTORY - placed 10th in Indiana)
9 Individual STATE FINALISTS:
- Sophomore Cassie Cohen placed 60th in Cross Country
- Sophomore Joanna Cantu placed 4th @ 105-lbs in Girls Wrestling
- Junior Seth Aubin in Wrestling @ 120-lbs
- Junior Aidan Costello placed 3rd in Wrestling @ 175-lbs
- Freshman Aleks Tatum in Wrestling @ 190-lbs
- Senior Ethan Robles placed 26th in Diving
- Junior Taylor Pope placed 29th in Discus
- Senior Cailey Weber placed 24th in the 300m Hurdles
- Junior Willy "The Jet" Shearer placed 17th in the 100m Dash & 20th in the 400m Dash
As the sun sets on the 2023-2024 sports season, some moderate reflection reveals that it was quite a JOURNEY! THANK YOU to all of our coaches, booster club members, parents, administration, custodial/grounds crew, workers, fans and most importantly the student-athletes for putting in so much WORK WORK WORK to be excellent on purpose and provide this blue-collar town with a memorable year!! IT WAS AWESOME!!
