Thanksgiving @ NRHS
Check out the Graphic above. Beyond GBED, Ranger Guy, Ranger Nation, The "Ridge" and "The 'Ville," it captures, pretty much, everything we are, or want to be - in a "bumper sticker" kind of "banner."
We are "The Home of The Rangers." Always have been - always will be.
The font is slightly ITALICIZED to announce that NRHS is a DYNAMIC school - we are on the move!
The Stripey lines in the name suggest Movement, don't you think?
21st Century reminds us that we are committed to preparing our students for THEIR FUTURE, not OUR PAST.
(S)cience, (T)echnology, (E)ngineering, (A)rts and (M)ath - for however they fit the design of our Rangers "PREFERRED" futures. All will continue to be featured in our programs & new building.
SEL= Social & Emotional Learning - Knowing every Rangers' story, and helping them to be confident in themselves, their relationships and their opportunities - Wellness!
Finally - Project-Based Learning - empowering kids to be "Do-ers" in their learning. Applying knowledge and growth in ways that are meaningful now and as they move forward.
That's it - in case you were wondering.
Have a Safe, Peaceful, Restful and Loving Thanksgiving. There is much to be Thankful for as we move forward in these exciting times in our school & district.
Final Four
Ranger Men's Soccer Makes History
Our 2x SWC Champion Men's Soccer team, under the direction of our "Coach of the Year" George Panagiotou, advanced to the OHSAA Division II "Final Four." They were eliminated by eventual State Champion New Albany-Plains at Mt. Vernon.
Our team is well - trained and well coached, and they are even better students than athletes. They have made our school, their families and North Ridgeville Proud, an established their legacy in the annals of NRHS.
We will forever remember this season!

News From Your Counselors
ASVAB Testing
Are you unsure about what future career options are suited to your skills and interests? Students in 10-12th grade are invited to participate in the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) on Monday, December 16th at 8:30am in the Community Room. Students will be excused from class at this time and will use their chromebook to take this test. The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude test that helps students learn about their skills and interests, identify potential occupations, and discover all of the pathways to career-field entry. Following the ASVAB, students will have the opportunity to meet with a representative to interpret their score and learn more about career fields they may be suited for, even if military enlistment is not your desired pathway. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, please sign up using this Google Form or stop by the Guidance Office and sign up with Mrs. Blair.
