We are thankful for the beautiful weather this week, it has certainly helped to keep everyone smiling and engaged here at IPS. Our kaimahi (staff) continue to step up under extremely trying circumstances and I am immensely proud of them and their commitment.

While we move into the last two weeks of Term 2, please remember to keep your child home if not well and let us know through the usual channels in the office.

Sad News

We were very sad to hear the news of the sudden death of Pauline Terrill on Tuesday. Pauline made an impact to the life of many children learning journey, especially within the context of Inglewood High School. Our sincerest condolences are extended to Gordon, Matt & Anne, Donna and Graeme, Paula and all the grandchildren. Pauline will be sorely missed.

Reporting to Parents

Our Kaiako have been working hard on various assessment and discussion in readiness to report to you as parents. The reports will be sent home Thursday 29 June. Our Student Led conferences will take place in Term 3 Wednesday 26 July 3:15 - 4:45 and then again Thursday 27 July from 1200 - 8pm.

Please note when booking, there is a different code for Wednesday and Thursday.

This event is being held in different locations depending on the teacher. Check your timetable after you've confirmed your bookings to find where your bookings are being held.

Each booking is 15 minutes long. Please ensure you arrive on time to each booking.

Booking your interviews

The booking website will open Monday, 19 June at 12:30 PM, and will close Wednesday, 26 July at 12:30 PM.

Enter your name, contact information, and the names of the students you wish to make bookings for.
Select the teachers you'd like to book by ticking the checkbox beside their name, and then click the Book Interviews button at the bottom of the page.
Using the timetable, click the Book button beside the time slot you'd like to book for the teacher. You'll be asked to confirm your booking.
Continue until you've made bookings for every teacher you'd like to see.

Once you're finished, you can view your timetable by clicking My Interviews at the top of the page. You can also print a copy of your timetable to take to the event.

Before your bookings you'll receive an email reminder containing your timetable. If you need to cancel any bookings, you can do so by following the link in the email you received when you first signed up.

New Gate Procedures for IPS

Thank you for parking up and letting your children walk along Miro or Kelly Street in and from school. This is of huge benefit at our crucial times in the morning and afternoon, which help to reduce the traffic in and out of the gate.

The work on the new car park is progressing and we are excited to see the development this past week. Please speak with your children and make sure they are mindful of the trucks and diggers accessing the site just inside the Blue gates.

Awesome Mahi

A huge congratulations to Lincoln from Pouākai Lindsey for his outstanding mahi in writing today. We are all super proud of you lincoln.

North Taranaki Rippa Rugby Year 7 & 8

Our Year 7&8 Rippa team had a great day in the sun with 4 wins from 6 games today in the North Taranaki TRFU Rippa Comp. Coming in a 5th was a great result. Thanks to coaches Sam and Monty.

Kāhui Ako Football Tournament

It was an exceptional day on Tuesday at the Kāhui Ako 7-Aside football tournament held at Karo Park. We were lucky enough to have entered 7 year 5-8 teams, 4 competitive and 3 social.

The team work and enthusiasm made for a fun and successful day. Well done to all students who participated and a huge congratulations to the year 5&6 team that won the competitive grade.

Concrete Contractors Wanted
