East End PTO Meeting - September 11
Please join us for the first East End PTO meeting of the year in the Community Room on Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30. The PTO is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and support your child at East End School!
Restorative Practices at East End
When students feel a sense of belonging, they are more engaged and ready to learn. Our dedicated staff is eager to work with you in supporting your child's growth. The North Plainfield School District has partnered with EdTomorrow to bring restorative practices into the schools. Restorative practices promote a sense of belonging and prioritize relationship and community building with regard to conflict resolution. For 24-25, teachers will begin implementing the First Five and Classroom Circles to promote this sense of belonging and relationship building amongst students and staff.
As parents, you can strengthen the home-school connection by asking your children to share some of what they experienced with regard to the First Five when they get home from school. If you want to take it a step further, you could sign up for the free daily emails at https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sl/2dAFJNb and have fun connecting over the content at home!
