In February, the CAC will be coming to our school and meeting with each grade level to discuss safety. Please check out the links below for more information, as well as, an opt OUT form. These forms will also come home in your child's take-home folder soon. If after you review the information, you do not wish for your student to attend, fill out and opt OUT form and send back to us.

As we transition from January to February, we will begin to kick off Jump Rope for Heart at Haynesfield. Jump Rope for Heart will take place during regular gym classes the week of February 3rd-7th. This is an important fundraiser for the American Heart Association and helps raise money for our physical education classes here at Haynesfield. Since my time as the PE teacher at Haynesfield we have raised over $17,000 for charity doing Jump Rope for Heart. This week your students will come home with the information packet. Remember that donations are completely voluntary and go to charity. If your student does wish to donate, you can choose to donate in one of two ways. The first way is online. The packet will include the website to register online and collect money 100% digitally online. The second way is the old fashion way of cash or check. All money must be turned in by Friday, February 28th. If you have any questions about this event at Haynesfield please feel free to contact me.
