This edition is dedicated to what I am so thankful for -
our amazing and caring staff. Over the last few months, I have asked people to fill in, replace, adjust, and be extremely flexible in their duties to provide our students with the highest level of education when people are absent due to illness or PD or whatever. As with most rural locations, we have a shortage of qualified people to substitute for our staff when we are gone and we've all had to chip in at times to make the magic work; the absence of our professionals makes me appreciate you that much more for the difficult job you do every day to keep learning at front and center; when you're not here we notice and recognize how hard we have to work to keep learning at front and center.

Be sure to personally reflect and discuss with your students what you and they are thankful for. We have so many more things to be thankful for here at DCMS than we do areas to improve.
