Every year, Wayland PTO contributes over $200,000 to our five schools, plus countless volunteer hours. These funds and time support our students, enable our staff and build our community. This Giving Tuesday, give the gift of education by helping Wayland PTO support our schools by making a tax-deductible Donation to Gift Your Child.
No matter what grade your child is in or what their interests are, Wayland PTO is here to support them! From playground balls, to movie nights, to robotics equipment to cultural enrichment programming and more, your child’s education is sure to have benefited from PTO funding.

Free Peer Tutoring
Tutoring is offered all school year by qualified Wayland High School students through the Wayland Tutoring Club. Our tutors are flexible and available to hold tutoring sessions in person or over zoom. Email aman_kumar@student.waylandps.org with questions.

Wayland Dads
Saturday Morning Loker Drop-Ins Are Back!
On the first Saturday of each winter month, volunteer dads open up the Loker gym (9am - 11am). We lay out the mats, open the ballroom, and pull out toys for the younger kids. The drop-ins are a cool opportunity for kids to play and dads to get together enjoy coffee, and toasted bagels. Dates: December 7th, January 4, February 1, March 1.

Boston Ability Center
Tween and Teen Community Game Night
This winter, the Boston Ability Center will be hostincommunity groups for neurodivergent tweens and teens! The vision of this group is to provide a neurodiversity affirming alternative to traditional social skills groups, enabling youth to meet peers in a setting focused on fun and friendship. This winter, we'll be doing a series of Nintendo Switch video game nights as well as a movie and crafting night. If you have individuals in mind that you believe could benefit from a group like this, please help spread the word!

Human Rights. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
International Human Rights Day
International Human Rights Day is Tuesday, December 10, 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the Large Hearing Room at the Wayland Town Building. to honor International Human Rights Day. Community members, adults and students, will take turns reading aloud the Articles (1-2 sentences apiece) of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights that established the modern human rights movement. Participants will also have an opportunity to create a ‘Hands for Human Rights’ wreath for display. RSVP or send your questions to chair_hrdeic@wayland.ma.us

Shop Small Shop Local Shop Fun on Saturday November 30.
Support your community by shopping locally at The Wayland Depot, located in the historic train station in Wayland center. Stop in for host gifts, holiday items, special treats, and local crafts; maybe even find a wonderful new scarf or jewelry piece for yourself!

Spanish Storytime and Craft. Spanish vocabulary sheets will be provided to help learn new words! Children in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to attend with their caregivers.

Yo Boca Taco Fundraiser
Wednesday, December 4th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Yo Boca Taco is located at 28 Boston Post Road
Please make sure to mention Wayland High School when ordering. A portion of the profits will be donated to the Class of 2026. Any money made will continue to help lower the prices of prom tickets and senior dues.

Help restock the shelves at My Bothers Table for the winter holiday by donating shelf stable foods. Donation bins are located at WMS, WHS, Wayland Public Library and Middlesex School

Wayland Youth Lacrosse
2025 Registration Is Now Open. Registration for grades 1-8 is open now through the end of January. Kindergarten and pre-K registration coming soon.
This program has focuses on the whole player and teamwork as well as character and skill development. Select teams offer players an additional competitive opportunity to take their lacrosse skills to the next level. The season begins in late February and continues through the beginning of June.
Screen Free Game Nights
Craft night on Saturday 12/14, 24, 6-8 pm at NESciTech, 16 Tech Circle for Wayland 4th-7th graders
- Cost: $10 per person, per event
- Food: Pizza will be served! (Parents are welcome to use this time to enjoy their own dinner out!
Hoops For a Home Court
Boys and girls in grades 1 through 8 are invited to compete in double-elimination games across four age groups at Wayland High School and Middle School. Prizes and t-shirts for everybody.
Human Relations Services
Looking for therapy services for you or your family? Human Relations Service (HRS) which is the mental health community clinic for all residents of Wayland and provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. HRS is based in Wellesley and currently has openings, including in-person and afterschool openings. HRS takes many insurances including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, MassHealth, Medicare as well as self-pay and sliding scale.
