Natural Selection
By; Kiara Kidd
Natural selection means;
those who are most "fit" that survive, reproduce, and take over an environment.
To be "fit" in a species refers to "most well adapted to the current environment."
Red and Green bugs
"In a habitat there are red bugs and green bugs. The birds prefer the taste of the red bugs, so soon there are many green bugs and few red bugs. The green bugs reproduce and make more green bugs and eventually there are no more red bugs."
My example
My example is an example of natural selection because eventually one of the two bugs died and the green bugs took over. The red bugs were selected because the birds love red bugs and not green ones.
Green bugs selected out because the birds like to eat red bugs.
