Jamuary 24, 2025
FROM OUR PRINCIPAL, MS. FOUNDAS
Dear Happy Hollow Families,
Today is the 90th day of school! We cannot believe we are halfway through the school year. This moment offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all the growth, learning, and connections our students have made so far.
From exploring new ideas in the classroom to developing friendships and navigating challenges, the first half of the year has been filled with accomplishments worth celebrating. As we look ahead to the second half, we are excited to continue building on this momentum and supporting every student’s journey of discovery and success.
Thank you for your partnership and encouragement, which make all the difference in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for our children. We can’t wait to see what the remainder of the year holds!
Warmly,
Nicolette Foundas, Happy Hollow Principal
Archie Turns One
As you may remember, Officer Bowels brings Archie to visit all Wayland Public Schools as a therapy dog. Archie has been a wonderful addition to our Happy Hollow family and puts a smile on our face with every visit! We made sure to celebrate him with love as he turned one this week!
Lost and Found
Please take the time to look through our lost and found as there are many items that miss their owners! We have been encouraging all students to check there for missing items.
Cell Phone Surveys
The Cell Phone Working Group is charged with examining the current cell phone practices and expectations in the district and coming up with recommendations for improvement. As a part of this work, they are surveying all WPS families to get feedback on our current expectations and practices.
In support of this effort we ask that you please complete the applicable survey below by 1/30/25.

Student Council: Penny War
The Happy Hollow Student Council has organized a Classroom Penny War! Starting next week, Tuesday, January 21st, Student Council will be collecting spare change to help raise funds for students in California impacted by wildfires through SupplyBank Disaster Relief Fund.
Each classroom will have a collection jar, and the class that collects the most money will win a special prize! We appreciate your support in making this fundraiser a success and helping those in need.
Thank you for your generosity and involvement! Every little bit counts!
