After week #3 of collections, we have recycled 165.8 pounds of plastic bags!! However, Otter Creek Elementary took the lead last week, and they are beating Nature Ridge by 10.55 pounds! Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to send in plastic bags for the contest!

Nature Ridge Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 3rd! (Rain date = Friday, May 10th)

Thank you to all of the volunteers who have signed up for Field Day! Please arrive a few minutes early to check in before your shift begins!

8:00-11:45 am K-2nd grades, and ILP primary

10:45-2:00 pm 3rd-6th grades, and ILP intermediate

ECO-FRIENDLY TRASH CAN CLEANING $25 PER BIN.

This spring, San-a-Can is offering a 2-month window for Nature Ridge to earn money from their services! Book a can cleaning ANY TIME between March 6th and May 6th, and a portion of your fee will come straight back to our school!

The gym will be FULL of carnival games! We will have pizza, popcorn, and candy for sale! The Ice Cream Overload truck will be outside selling delicious, hand-scooped sundaes! PLUS, we have over 75 donations for our SILENT AUCTION!

Thanks to all who came out to our Scholastic Book Fair last week! It was great to see so many families excited about buying new books!

We sold over $7,000 worth of books! With the profits, we were able fulfill the wish lists of every Nature Ridge classroom teacher, and add $200 in new titles to the library!

A special thanks to our guest readers, Mrs. Mireles-Garcia, President Wallace, Battalion Chief Gustafson, Officer Bingham, Mrs. Balgeman, and Mrs. Aleman!

The PTO is still looking for someone to run the Book Fair this fall. Without a chairperson, we will NOT be able to bring the Book Fair back to Nature Ridge. Please email NatureRidgeBoard@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more!
