Learning Partnerships
Sharing Stories
Ms. King's English 1201 class recently partnered with a kindergarten class from Sacred Heart Academy. Students in English 1201 had been studying Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". One of the learning opportunities included students creating a story for a character in the play, which they shared with with our friends at SHA. It was a wonderful experience for our students. Big thanks to Ms. King and to Ms. Rideout, Ms. Avery, and Ms. Young at SHA for making this happen!
Bridge Building
An exciting time for our Design and Fabrication students. Recently, we spent the day testing 20+ popsicle stick bridges and had several teams beat the previous high score. The winning team’s bridge held 98.5 lbs! Thanks to Ms. Powell-Sellars and to Mr. Hackett for setting up this awesome learning experience and thanks to TradesNL for donating the prizes!
