Thank you to all our families who park on the neighbouring streets when they need to walk their child into the building. You are incredible role models for the community.

For anyone who may not be familiar with how the drop-off/pick-up zones (shown in blue on the map below) are designed to work here is a quick run down.

Morning Drop-Off:

1. Pull into the farthest open spot (Don't stop at the start or the middle please!)
2. Help your children exit the car and give them a quick kiss or hug before sending them on their way.
3. Stay with you vehicle - if you walk your child to the door, park on the street!
4. Pull into the driving lane and exit the drop off area.

Afternoon Pick-Up:

1. Pull into the farthest open spot.
2. Stay in your vehicle.
3. If the car in front of you leaves, move into the empty spot ahead of you.
4. When your child arrives, help them to get in the car safely.
5. Pull into the driving lane and exit the drop off area.

Sibling and make-up photos can be booked at the Fiddle Leaf Studio in the WBF neighbourhood (appointments are available for individual photos of any other children who do not attend the centre, as well as group photos of siblings together.) Please use the coupon code WBF2024 to clear/waive the session fee. Sibling galleries will be provided as a separate album for you to order prints and/or digital images.

Alberta Health Services offers free online programming for parents and caregivers of children and youth. Sessions are offered through Zoom. The list of September 2024 sessions is now available.

Did you know that you can find many FREE programs and services for families in Strathcona County?

They offer sessions for kids of all ages as well as programs for Fall Break (like a family pumpkin carve-off)! They also offer classes for parents such as No Such Thing as a Bad Kid and Emotional Coaching for parents/caregivers!

The EIPS Correction and Verification Form is available online through your PowerSchool Parent Portal—at the top of the left-hand menu. Use the form to access and update your child’s records information—including address, parent and guardian information, emergency contacts and medical information. Reviewing the form and submitting updates ensures the school has the most up-to-date information regarding your child.

When reviewing the form, pay close attention to all listed phone numbers, email addresses and emergency contact information. Also, if you recently moved, now is the time to ensure the Division has your updated address. Throughout the year, the Division and school use the listed information to communicate with families about important information, including updates, the latest news and events.
