PAX Good Behavior Game (GBG)
The PAX Good Behavior Game is a school-based, preventative classroom management intervention used by educators to teach self-regulation. PAX GBG is not a set of lessons or a curriculum, but strategies teachers use throughout their day to build students’ behavioral skills and stamina for focused attention and on-task behavior. It is one of the most evidence-based systems. It is trauma-informed, and pairs beautifully with your schoolwide PBIS and/or restorative practices.
This training would normally cost around $500, but currently, teachers in Texas have access to the training for free. All trainings are online, and in addition to the PAX GBG training and the PAX Partner and Next Steps trainings, there are new options available: To see all trainings and to register for a live virtual or self-paced training, visit www.texasgoodbehaviorgame.org
NEW TRAININGS AVAILABLE:
- PAX Heroes - for experienced PAX teachers with students needing Tier 2/3 behavioral support
- PAX GBG for Early Childhood - for teachers of ages 3-5 (Live Virtual 1/19, 2/5, or 2/16)
- PAX Tools for Parents/Caregivers
- PAX GBG for Adolescents - for Middle School and High School Teachers
