We will be having our interest meeting on Wednesday 9/14 at 4:30 pm at the school. We encourage everyone that feels that they have a child this program would help to attend the interest meeting.
Mr. Jeffrey T. Horton and Mr. Martin V. Lee will be serving as co-site directors of the program at Oceanway Middle School. Our goal as a school is to have as many students as possible that can begin at Oceanway and grow within the program. Each student that is accepted into the program must be an active participant.
There is a need for support for each student selected. If you can serve as an adult role model, the information is available on either website. Contact Mr. Horton (hortonj4@duvalschools.org) or Mr. Lee (leem5@duvalschools.org) for more information.
Bring Computers In
Do you need a home computer or Internet for your student?
Through this grant, the district is able to loan 43,000 laptops and 10,000 hotspots to students.
We encourage all families in need to complete an application.
This application is online in the parent's FOCUS account. It is called the “Parent Emergency Communications Fund Survey.”
Applications will continue to be collected until all technology has been handed out.
