From Mr. Sherwood:
Mr. Sherwood's classes recites, The Power of Words" each day before class begins.
Everyone knows words can be very powerful, good or bad, mean or kind.
But, the idea is that if we recite out loud the Positive Power of Words, we will actually begin to believe these words about ourselves.
A HUGE THANKS goes out to Mrs. Fultz and Mrs. Baugher for their lamination efforts!
Mrs. Fultz laminated hundreds of miniature copies of the Power of Words so students could hang them inside and outside their lockers!!!
FCA
FCMS had another big crowd in FCA this week. This week's FCA was led by one of our 7th graders, who shared a lesson about her favorite verse, Philipians 4:13. Moriah explained to her peers that she believes God cares about all things, not just the big things. While she is not a fan of hw, she often asks God to help her with her homework as she believes He will help her through it. Several kids in FCA shared their favorite Bible verses this morning while enjoying donuts and brownies. If you have never been to an FCA meeting, our FCA members would love to have you!!! Meetings are every Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the library.
